Privacy Statement (Summary)

SilSpark is primarily a local app: most of what you enter stays on your device.

• We do not run a central “SilSpark account” system in the app; sign‑in and subscriptions use Apple’s systems where applicable.
• We do not operate a backend that stores your diary, notes, or similar content by default.
• Exception — SafeCheck (optional): If you turn on “Sync to server” in SafeCheck → Settings and the app is configured with a SafeCheck API base URL, each check‑in can send limited data (see Privacy Policy below) to that server so overdue alerts (e.g. email) can be sent to contacts you choose. You can turn sync off; then check‑ins are not uploaded for that feature.

Device permissions (camera, microphone, photos, location, contacts, etc.) are requested only when needed for a feature. You can change them anytime in iOS Settings.

Privacy Policy

SilSpark helps with everyday safety and practical tools (SOS, reminders, SafeCheck, utilities, and more).

1. Overview

SilSpark is mainly on‑device. Except when you enable SafeCheck server sync to an endpoint configured for the app, data you enter is kept on your device by default.

2. Data on your device

Examples: nickname, home address, medication reminders, diary entries, emergency contacts (for SOS and SafeCheck). Subscription status is handled by Apple; we use system APIs to unlock features and do not store your payment credentials on our own servers.
